About a month or so ago I went up to the Ute Pass boulders, kinda the local secret spot. I had only been there maybe five times over the last five years. I didn't know where much was so I went up with a good friend of mine Kevin Branford. He was like a Ute Pass dictionary, I saw so many amazing problems and was sooooo stoked all day. The few times I had been to the pass I saw two problems that had stood out from the rest; Bloody Arete an amazing V8 or V9 arete. And Ships Prow a rad V9.
On that trip I was fortunate to send Bloody Arete in just a handful of tries, it is definitely one of the best problems I have ever been on!! I came back a few days later with my buddy Alex and tried ships prow, it felt pretty hard and apparently I may have added a move to the sit start. It was about 25 degrees out and I only had a few tries due to the fact that I'm a Pansy. After a few tries I had fallen off the top out, and realized I had poked a few holes in my finger tips...I was done!
Hopefully when it warms up I can get back out there and send it no problem!

Great photos. Don't the knuckles on your fingers get permanently swollen?
